Tech Fact: Dash falls into the category called privacy coins. Dash uses a privacy feature on their Blockchain which they call "PrivateSend". A quick description from the Dash Whitepaper states: "PrivateSend uses the fact that a transaction can be formed by multiple parties and made out to multiple parties to merge funds together in a way where they cannot be uncoupled thereafter. Given that all PrivateSend transactions are setup for users to pay themselves, the system is highly secure against theft and users coins always remain safe. Currently to mix using PrivateSend requires at least three participants.”
These PrivateSend transactions are limited to 3 users per transaction with a 1000 DASH limit per transaction. For the funds to be mixed, the DASH must be in certain denominations including: 0.01 DASH, 0.1 DASH, 1 DASH, 10 DASH, 100 DASH, AND 1000 DASH.
